One of the biggest issues facing urban communities in Georgia is access to fresh food.  ‘Food deserts’ are areas within a city where no grocery stores operate, leading residents to turn to less healthy options.  City of Atlanta officials, led by Mayor Andre Dickens, are working to combat the issue to establish two new grocery stores in low food access areas, with Invest Atlanta chipping in some $8 million to get the stores off the ground.  The two grocery stores operated by Savi Provisions will be in Southwest Atlanta and Downtown, offering Atlantans healthier, cheaper food alternatives.  RISING…
