The University of Georgia confirmed that at least one of those injured in yesterday’s radical Islamist terrorist attack in New Orleans was a student at the Athens school. UGA President Jere Morehead noted in a post to the university’s X account that the student was critically injured and is receiving medical treatment. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
