Have you ever heard the word ‘semiquincentennial?’ Probably not, but expect to hear it a lot more leading up to 2026, when the U.S. celebrates its 250th anniversary, ‘The United States Semiquincentennial.’ To prepare for the full calendar of events Gov. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
