Georgia political operative Billy Kirkland has been nominated by President Donald Trump to be assistant secretary of the Interior for Indian Affairs.  A member of the Navajo Nation, the UGA grad is a veteran of the Peach State campaign circuit, managing David Perdue’s 2014 Senate campaign, advising Kelly Loeffler and Burt Jones, and most recently steering Brian Jack to victory in an open U.S. House seat.  Expected to be confirmed quickly, Kirkland’s boat is RISING…
