We’re used to scoring economic development victories here in Georgia, but one Coweta County project took a major L when Norwegian battery-maker Freyr cancelled a $2.6 billion project. The company announced plans to build the energy storage facility in 2022, scoring some $350 million in grants and tax incentives from the state. But inflation and Chinese competition crippled the startup, which has also had to lay off workers in Europe. National Rifle Association salutes Mike Collins
As campaign season ramps up, the National Rifle Association (NRA) is hitting the trail with its Gun Bus Battleground Tour, where it will visit 13 battleground states backing candidates it says are staunch defenders of the 2nd Amendment. One of those is here in Georgia in U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, running for U.S. Senate against Democrat Jon Ossoff.
