The Georgia Environmental Protection Division slammed the City of Atlanta with a $300,000 fine due to major sewage overflows at the R.M. Clayton Water Reclamation Facility on the city’s west side.  The fine comes following a lawsuit from environmentalist nonprofit Chattahoochee Riverkeeper over continued pollution of the river.  The EPD has a long list of needed repairs and updated water tests to go along with the fine, which has Atlanta’s water treatment services (and the Chattahoochee River) SINKING…
