The Atlanta Public Safety Training Center hasn’t been in the headlines recently as much as it was in recent years when violent protesters rioted and vandalized cars and buildings to try to stop it, but a legal battle has been going on behind the scenes.  However now the training center is “functionally complete” and already hosting police officers, firefighters and first responders for training sessions.  So what does that mean for opponents arguing that their First Amendment rights were “violated” because they weren’t allowed to collect signatures to try to stop the facility’s construction?  Their argument appears to be moot and SINKING…
