U.S. Rep. Brian Jack has only just gotten settled into his Washington D.C. office, but he’s already delivered a big win for his constituents, helping to preserve hundreds of jobs at the Rinnai America Corporation factory in Griffin. The Japanese-owned plant is the only facility in America that makes gas-powered water heaters, which the Biden Administration sought to ban as part of its energy regulatory policy. Rinnai execs lamented that the policy would likely force them to shutter the factory and eliminate 300 jobs. But a bill backed by Jack overturned the rule, and Trump celebrated its passage during an Oval Office bill-signing ceremony last week.
