U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-GA, has introduced a new bill that aims to incentivize companies to directly invest in local workforce development, through partnerships with high schools, career academies and technical colleges. The idea is to help increase private investment in training workers, helping to stretch public dollars that may be getting thinner.

“Technical colleges, community colleges, and skills training are the foundation for Georgia’s middle-class,” Ossoff said. “That’s why I’m introducing this bill to encourage private businesses to invest in workforce development and hire Georgians.”
