Emphasizing the importance of Lake Lanier as a crucial water source for millions and a major recreational hub, two state lawmakers want to know exactly what’s going on with taste and odor issues in the lake and the Chattahoochee River. In their efforts to find answers, Rep. Matt Dubnik, R–Gainesville, chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, and Sen. Drew Echols, R–Gainesville, have announced their intention to reestablish the Lake Lanier Caucus.
