Republican Steven McNeel won the special election runoff Tuesday to fill the seat of former state Sen. John F. Kennedy, who resigned to focus on his run for lt. governor. He defeated Democrat LeMario Brown by nearly 20 points, keeping the Middle Georgia seat under GOP control. Democrats poured money and effort into an attempt to flip the seat, but were only able to improve their performance by about five percent over the last time the district was contested in 2022. Last Sunday a mother and daughter attended the Atlanta Dream/Indiana Fever basketball game at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. With two minutes left in overtime the pair were ordered to cover their XX-XY chromosome shirts— and the censorship incident went viral. It’s obvious that left-wing, pro-trans leaders of the Women’s National Basketball Association are intent on suppressing the message that men and women are different and that biological men cannot become women. However, widespread public support exists for these statements of fact, and by trying to censor them the WNBA is actually causing these viral moments.
