Florida is on high alert as Hurricane Ian moves into the Gulf of Mexico, where it is expected to gain speed and strengthen before making landfall later this week. But Georgia could also get its share of the impact, with current models showing the path of the storm coming up through the Panhandle and up into the Peach State. Gov. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
