Gov. Brian Kemp signed one of his first bills of the 2024 legislative session Wednesday, making a statement that antisemitism won’t stand in Georgia. Surrounded by a bipartisan group of lawmakers, Kemp signed HB 30 which legally defines ‘antisemitism’ and adds it to the state’s pre-existing hate crime laws. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
