About two months ago U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff questioned U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy during a meeting of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee over service failures in Georgia. He noted that the on-time delivery for first class mail only hit 64%, down from 90% a year ago, a startling drop. At that time DeJoy said that in 60 days he’d have the issues sorted out. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
