Another Georgian has been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to fill a key position in Washington. The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
