With bowl season in full swing and the the College Football Playoff hurtling towards the national championship, the state of Georgia’s massive representation in college football should be noted. Per this year’s report by Steve Slay, a researcher with the Georgia High School Football Historians Association, there are 4,713 Georgia athletes playing college football nationwide, at all levels. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
