Georgia Pathways and Georgia Access programs, signed into law by Gov. Brian Kemp, now cover over 715,000 Georgians under the federal poverty level (FPL). That’s more than double the amount of people traditional Medicaid expansion covers. And 709, 984 Georgians under the FPL have commercial coverage (which they would lose subsidies for immediately if Georgia fully expanded Medicaid) and 5,903 individuals are covered under the Georgia Pathways program. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
