President Donald Trump capped off a busy first day of his second term by firing over a thousand political appointees from the previous regime, with one prominent Georgia chief among them.  Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, appointed by former President Joe Biden to the President’s Export Council in 2023, was one of the first four names “fired” by Trump late Monday.  But according to Bottoms she couldn’t be fired – because she’d already quit!  “A day late and a dollar short,” Bottoms said on social media. “My resignation from the President’s Export Council was submitted January 4, effective yesterday.”  Fired or quit – Bottoms’ time in D.C. is SINKING…
