The Weather Channel is moving to a new, centralized model – and that’s good news for Georgia. Allen Media, the station’s owner, is getting rid of local meteorologists at its 28 local TV stations across the country and instead doling out weather reports from its Atlanta headquarters. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens blasted the decision, accusing the DNC of “abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters.” The snub has Georgia Dems SINKING…
