The Georgia Department of Transportation is giving roughly $42 million to Cobb County for various projects, many of which are around the new Suntrust Park, but none of that money will go toward a bridge spanning I-285 connecting the stadium with the Cobb Galleria. Looks like Tim Lee and co. will have to come up with another means to fund their bridge and parking deck renovations. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
