This past Friday the U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon filed a motion demanding the recusal of Atlanta-based U.S. 11th Circuit District Judge Eleanor Ross from a key election-related case after she admitted to attending a partisan fundraiser for Democrat Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Dhillon charges that Ross’ attendance makes clear she isn’t impartial, and points out it violates ethical legal canons.
