Georgia breaks trade records, becomes top 10 exporting state
For the first time since 2020, and after five straight years of breaking export records, Georgia is back in the Top 10 rankings for exporting states. Governor Brian Kemp joined the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) in announcing that Georgia has again made history by surpassing $60.2 billion in exports in calendar year 2025.
House passes McBath-sponsored bill to fight human trafficking
With its status as one of the top logistics or transportation states in the country – between Hartsfield and being near the southern terminus of 3 major interstates – Georgia is also sadly one of the nation’s leading states for human trafficking.
