House gives unanimous approval to two bills to protect families and children
The House has given unanimous approval to two bills – one that would allow certain medical facilities to implement newborn safety devices (House Bill 350), and another that would add a step-grandparent and step-grandchild to state law regarding incest (House Bill 57). Clyde resolution to overturn Biden-era energy standards passes Senate
Earlier this year, Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-GA, introduced more than a dozen Congressional Review Act (CRA) joint resolutions of disapproval to overturn various Biden-era regulations. This week, his CRA joint resolution of disapproval, H.J.Res. 42 regarding energy standards, passed the Senate by a vote of 52-46.
